Ink level detection will now be disabled on that color.The printer will eventually ask you to disable detection by holding down the Stop button for at least 5 seconds and then releasing it.Move through the screens, performing the actions described in the messages that appear on the touchscreen.
The message "The above ink tank may be an ink tank that ran out of genuine Canon ink or a counterfeit Canon ink tank." will appear on your printer's touchscreen upon installing a cartridge that was once marked as "empty".
